I’ll be frank with you right out the gates. Here you will find the only web video optimization tool you will ever need.

Does it feel like it takes longer to upload your videos to YouTUbe than it does to get actually get your videos ranked on YouTube? Or does it take hours to upload your videos to other sites like Facebook, Daily Motion, or Vimeo?

her way it’s a huge headache particularly for internet marketers who do a lot of video marketing.

There are a lot of online marketing tools and software that you will see out there that may be helpful. But many of them try and automate a process that doesn’t actually take long. However, a tool that will cure slow video upload and playback is well worth it.

Those same videos that take hours to upload are the same videos that can take even up to a few minutes to playback on desktops, laptops, and most of all mobile devices. The unfortunate part is it’s annoying for visitors and can turn them away from being eager to come back to your website

If this has happened to you then you would agree how annoying that is to experience that when you want to watch something at that moment.

Personally I’ve tried to use a couple different solutions that I’ve seen on the internet but the process was either too long for optimizing video or it simply didn’t do a good job. The result was just more waste of time and back to square one.

Then one day I came across a solution that did the trick. It was fast, free and I’ve never had to use anything else since then…

Meet HandBrake!

HandBrake is a tool for converting video from nearly any format to a selection of modern, widely supported codecs. Some great thing about HandBrake are it…

  • Converts video from nearly any format
  • Free and Open Source
  • Multi-Platform (Windows, Mac and Linux)

One of the best features I use it for is decreasing the size of video files. When using HandBrake I’ve converted videos that were the size of up to 2GB down to 200MB. If you don’t know what that means it’s completely fine. Just understand that my videos will play on any device and it takes me minutes to upload my videos as opposed to hours.

  • Hi NT,

I do believe video is a must from blogging to marketing. A face to face one minute video on a blog can do a world of good. We don’t have to make them long, just short and to the point.

All my products are digital and video is used all the time. I use Screenflow to do this and it has been a life saver for me. Then I store it on an external drive.

But when I want to do a blog or just a shout out, Youtube is great.

I will be looking into Handbrake. Three is never enough to learn.

  • Hi NT, Very interesting. I do some videos, but have not been a main strategy. Now it apprears that you have to use video more and more….so this is very helpful. I’ve have only once or twice run into a problem with the videos not loading quickly enough. Thanks again.
